Control over LAN (1 Viewer)

I am looking for a way to control MediaPortal over my LAN, so that myself and others on my network can schedule it to record at a certain date and then watch it later, with out having to actually come in contact with the machine. Is there any built in functions or suggestions you can offer me?

I think you mean MPW and not WebEPG.

Personally I like to use Ultr@VNC.

It's not owrking for me. I get no screenshot rom MP. Omly he famous red cross in the upper left corner.

No excuse here, just knew it was available, personally I use VNC when away from the machine.

There is a simple solution for that. I can't remember it now, but if you go to the MPW home page there is a big sing that points to it. Look in the MPW FAQ if all else fails...
