But it is what MP is doing when you press the "L" key (or a remote key that simulates the keyboard "L")  that is the key here. That is definitely something inside Media Portal. By default, it looks like it just sends a on / off command to directvobsub. If you map your remote to an ffdshow shortcut for subtitles, then you bypass that and manipulate ffdshow directly. Would that make sense? I am second guessing what's going on here, in the hope of trying to understand......</p></blockquote><p></p>
