You dont disable the sub button, you actually link it to a function, so when pressed it does what you want (you can pick any button you want, doesnt have to be the sub one).  But first you should uncheck the show subtitles in ffdshow config. If that does nothing (you still see subtitles) then configuring the remote wont do anything. But if it does turn them off then you should be able to 'map' a function to one of your buttons on the remote to turn off subtitles.</blockquote>
