Trying now for some time to enable CoreAVC 2.5 on a new PC with Windows 7 x64.
Every time a .ts or .mkv file with h264 shall be played, playback is prohibited with an error.
Tried to disable mediafoundation (both 32 & 64 bit); tweaked merits, but to no avail.

On the other hand, ffdshow is playing perfectly.

Any hints what may be wrong or missed in the configuration?

    Help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    HI

I have just installed 2.5 on my win7 64 bit server (SP1). After reboot, BBC1 HD is ok so is BBC HD but not ITV1 HD. I changes the sound driver to Nvidia one and not ITV1 HD works fine as well.

    Cheers

    Hi there,

I've never had any joy with CoreAVC (tried 2.0 and 2.5.1) on my ION2 system - I have bad lip sync and stuttering issues.

    PDVD works fine for me.

    J.
