I was using FFDSHOW latest beta build... and 1080p on MKV (H.264, AVC) was very bad, not fluid, crappy...I installed CoreAVC 1.9.5 on my MP 1.0.0.0 (and Vista Ultimate SP1); I have Nvidia 9600GT 512MB, with latest drivers (to use CUDA u have to use drivers from 178.x or later). Now my full hd films go like a charms... good picture quality, non jumps, no drops, audio (DD or DTS) perfectly synced, subtitles, anc other... I didn't checked the color of the tray icon... so don't know if with MP I'm using CUDA or not... but surely CoreAVC is very better than FFDSHOW...Ciao
