coverting dvds to avi/mkv (1 Viewer)

sorry if ive posted in the wrong forum but i think this is the right one

i want to covert my dvds to avis or mkvs to save space, just wondering if anyone can tell me the program/settings they use to get the best picutre/file size,

i know there are hundreds of guides out there but someone who has done it recenty and been happy with the results in mp would be of great help.

The MediaSlayer plugin will sort you right.. 1.1d works like a charm.... You will need AnyDVD or DVD43 installed.... You will find it all in all around here... Just seach for Mediaslayer and read the furumms. Thanks
