hi everyone

just had a clean install of mediaportal, set up tv etc, but every time we start live tv, the cpu load goes up to 90 - 100 percent. i am sure that this wasnt the case during the first couple of days, but is now happening every time its worse on hd channels

obviously video isnt very smooth at all because of this

i beleive the cpu is for some reason doing some of the jobs that the gpu should be handling

i have tried using 3 different codecs, but none seem to make a difference

playback worked fine using mediacenter before a clean install of windows so hardware is capable of running hd tv playback

PLEASE can somebody help?

thanks!
