This is funny as there's no filename exceeding the value of 200.
Any comments on that?

was about to ask, how you were able to create a filename exceeding the limit

do you know, which file is the one that leads to the crash?

well, you're right. Error was based on a corrupted file, after deleting the folder the file was in everythings worked properly.

for your help anyway!

But you may be able to help me with another question.
I'm not able to set the value "Part of a Compilation", it's not being saved

just type in something numeric. i'll do the very often and don't have a problem.
if you like you can upload one of your files, where it diesn't work to a free file hoster and PM me the link.
i will then look into it.

It seems to me that everything's working fine with .mp3 files but I'm still not able to set the value for .m4a files. Is ist correct that MPTagThat does not support this for m4a (w/o any DRM)?
