[Action Required] Crash in Config-Tool (1 Viewer)

Hello,

every time I open the Config Tool and go to the "Configuration" section, the service and the tool itself crashes.

According to the log files this has to to something with the determination of my external IP address.
The server is behind a proxy but has internet access.

Your proxy is broken. Anyway, I've fixed the crash in MPExtended 0.5.2.

No, my proxy is not broken. It's just a bit more restricted ;-)
On some other test client there were no such errors - that client had unrestricted internet access.The tool and the service were working fine there.
The client with the error only has restricted internet access.

Anyway, thank you very much for reading and fixing this.

Well, this is the exception thrown by .NET:

2013-01-06 10:10:40.74880 [(5)] WARN: Error retrieving external IP address
System.Net.WebException: The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine

The proxy probably violates the HTTP protocol when restricting access to a page - it wouldn't be the first or the last proxy to break the HTTP protocol.

Anyway, bug is fixed, so whatever.
