Synopsis:: -
Hi,
I'm getting a crash in MyTV when I go to fullscreen mode [Alt-Enter].
To reproduce the crash:
1) Open MP and select MyTV from main menu
2) Ensure that TV On is selected
3) [Alt-Enter]
The information I have so far about this bug:
1) It happens most times but not always. Sometimes the window just hangs
without being redrawn while the sound is still being played, but the MP window
can still be closed properly.
2) It happens also with downloadable version 0.2.1.0. With 0.2.0.0 I couldn't
reproduce the crash, instead the window just hangs as described above.
3) It doesn't happen if I select Cyberlink Decoder(s) as the Television codec. It
seems that the TV window is drawn differently with this codec. The TV context
menu (right click) isn't shown but remains hidden with this codec.
4) As far as I can say I used the defaults in the installation and the configuration
wizard.
5) Windows produces an error log from the crash. This is the info that I could copy
from it:
AppName: mediaportal.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 AppStamp:455e0694
ModName: mscorwks.dll ModVer: 2.0.50727.42 ModStamp:4333e7ec
fDebug: 0 Offset: 000055fc
6) There is nothing special in in my environment except perhaps that it's German
and has a big display. The TV card works fine with MP.
The MediaPortal.log is here.
Did anyone already see this problem or a similar one? Can someone else reproduce this problem? As I don't have a very special environment, other users should be affected as well.
Regards,
kolm
