Crash on standby resume (1 Viewer)

Hi there, sometime mediaportal crash resuming standby.... I see for few seconds Aeon Wide home menu and then an error message.
I attach my logs.

It looks like that the RSS Ticker and WebEPG try to use the internet before your network connection is up. I am not totally sure if that is causing the errors but you can try by disabling those plugins for a while.
If that is causing the error try to install MPStandbyHandler.

Configure MPStandbyHandler to wait for lets say 10 seconds, until there is a network connection established on your ethernet interface.

thanks for you fast reply.. I've used mpstandbyhandler but with this some time restarting MP produces a '3D devide not rasterized' (or similar, I don't remember well) I think it's a video drivers issue...and I've lastes ati 8.9
Anyway maybe

The sofware rasterizer error you are talking about appears when DirectX is not yet initialized before the MediaPortal client is starting. It has nothing to do with your graphics card nor the ATI 8.9 driver.
To fix the software rasterizer error you can try one of the following possible solutions:

• Specify some seconds to wait before restarting MediaPortal so DirectX can take its time to initialize. You can specify that in the MPStandbyHandler tool.
• If you need to specify a very long waiting time in the MPStandbyHandler tool you can try to reduce the number of services starting when Windows is starting.

BTW, also make sure that the option Start MediaPortal with Windows in the MediaPortal Configuration Utility is disabled when using MPStandbyHandler.
