    Hi,

above system (single seat = server and MP on same machine, but MS SQL Express on different machine on network) works fine except when I want the system to go into standby.
My Vista is configured to go into "Power Save=standby" not hibernate when I press the power button on my computer case (same for my MCE remote's PC button).

When I press the button the system goes into standby, however, with the screen already blanked out I can here the MP Watchdog notifing me, that MP crashed. Accordingly when I resume from standby I see the MP watchdog telling me that MP crashed and I have to restart MP.

I already tried VMR9 and EVR, tried different sound and video codecs as well as disabling plugins. However the behaviour doesn't change.

I would actually like to provide the developers in here some logs/feedback (if they like) however don't know which logs to provide for them to provide reasonable information.

Any advice on above is much appreciated.

    Hi,

i have this problem too, because i stop MP before suspend. Since its just "killed" and not closed porperly, its throwing this error.
uncheck the watchdog feature in config, and he is gone.

Thanks for replying - I know I could get rid of the watchdog.
However the real issue is that MP crashes at all when going into standby.

In fact it shouldn't crash but remain in memory, so when I return from standby it should just be there and not to be restarted.

I am adding the logs (Crash at 13:54:29h), I hope somebody can have a look at it, the error log shows some errors in it.

    Thanks for helping.
