    For your information:

I have been having crashes when changing channels. After a few hours of debugging this morning, turning everything off and on one thing at a time I have found that it was being caused by having the PowerDVD9 codec set as the Audio Renderer. PowerDVD 8 is working fine though, so happy using that.

I have attached logs in which I have PDVD9 as the audio renderer. I am watching TV, and then try and change channel. MediaPortal then crashes. Changing Audio Renderer resolved the issue.

I would suggest to use latest ffdshow-tryout as audio renderer.

FFDshow (Tryout) is the Audio Decoder, but I have no option to use it as the Audio Renderer. I'm currently using either PDVD8 or the "Default DirectSound Decoder" and they work fine.

This is purely for the devs information - i'm happy sticking to th default renderer! :)

It is always recommended to use the default audio renderer. No need to use anything else (if you aren't into ReClock). There is no known benefits using other renderer (at least Cyberlink ones).
