Have a weird problem after I decided to do a clean install of MediaPortal on my just updated windows 10 box.
I can install MediaPortal and configure the TV service fine, even get Argus installed as the recorder, but the MediaPortal configuration app (which runs by default on first run) always crashes (at the point where it initialises the music database). It never gets to the configuration menu. Therefore, I cannot get a working MediaPortal up.

Also, I've noticed the extensions manager also crashes on startup, and ironically, the watchdog reporting tool.

Here's the messages from the crash windows. They look .net related, but I have confirmed that .net 3.5 and 4 is enabled in windows 10.

Any ideas?

    Maybe it's a RAMDRIVE drive ?
If yes could you try to relocated the Temp folder on local drive.

maybe not related but I had a problem with Outlook 2013 sending after the update.

    This was fixed using
    sfc /scannow
in a command window run as administrator
