If you have a movie playing, press "return" on remote - or ESC an keyboard - then you're back in MyFilms Details screen with movie running minimized (depending on skin of course).
Then you can access the context menu and choose "fanart creation" - snapshot. The snapshot will be taken from the moment, when you choose the menu entry.

Yeah, I knew that, I just thought there is some hotkey available. By your way, the moment, that you would like to capture, will be far away... :)

Yeah - that might be true ;-) ... if there is many users interested in that feature, I can add a hotkey ...

    Hi vrm42,
    attached is a new testversion:
    - added action handler for fullscreen playback - to take a fanart snapshot, press "RECORD" on remote. (You'll get a dialog asking, if you want to take the snapshot - but be aware, the timestamp is taken from the moment when you press "record").
    - fixed the image sizes - so now all movie fanarts should be original source resolution - and mosaic fanart should be resized to HD resolution, whatever it is when "mounting" the single images to mosaic fanart ...

Could you please retest and report back, if that works fine?

    Thanks,
    Guzzi

Hi vrm42 - If you add a feature request to the My Films Issue Tracker for a hotkey to 'create 'snapsnot' fanart from current playback position' then we can star the issue and vote for it to encourage Guzzi to add it :) I will vote for it! (and I think z3us might as well).

    Image sizes are OK now.
This RECORD thing doesn't work for me. I press the button (also tried R on keyboard), no effect.

I found something about picture aspect ratio. I think MePo should handle it, but it doesn't.
When a control is image, these settings:
    <keepaspectratio>yes</keepaspectratio>
    <centered>yes</centered>
    <zoom>yes</zoom>

do the job correctly, but when the control is multiimage, it just doesn't work. Image is not centered and got no zoom.
So I guess it is an incompleted improvement or bug in MePo.
No idea who to be addressed with this issue.

Last thing: in lang file, what is "Shouts"? I guess it is some Trakt thing, but not sure.

This only works from myfilms - so when you start a movie from myfilms that is in fullscreen, pressing "record" on the remote should show a respective dialog. That handling is not enabled when you are watching somewhere else.
Can you retry that way please?

Those errors are harmless - only indicating, that your catalog does not have info about with/height recognized, thus not being able to calculate aspectratio.

yes, I know, that "normal" image supports that, while multi image does not - and I would say it is an incomplete implementation. Not sure, if it will be fixed, as multi image is not very commonly used... if I find the time, I can look into it.

Yes, Shouts is a sub menu entry in trakt menu - calling user comments (shouts) of the current movie.

I did exactly as you described. Tried on 3 machines. No dialog, no snapshot.
Used default wide skin. Everything else works just fine.

Hi, I found the reason - it is due to the fact, you don't have full mediapath stored in your config - so MyFilms didn't start the action handler...
    Will check for a solution.
