Hi!
I have setup the Seesaw config by 8:13 on the AVS forums, and I managed to get it to work in ZoomPlayer. However, I can't get the same setup to work in MediaPortal.
In ZoomPlayer I have set up that DScaler is the Video decoder, AC3 filter is the Audiodecoder, ffdshow raw video filter is in the filters list, and VMR9 is selected as the Video renderer, and ReClock as the Audio renderer.
In MediaPortal I have selected DScaler as the MPEG2 decoder, AC3 filter as the audio decoder, ffdshow raw video filter in the post processing list and Reclock as the audiorenderer. VMR9 is selected, with all items checked and Gaussian Quad selected.
Just as an extra fact, if I select DScaler as the MPEG2 decoder, and disable the ffdshow postprocessing the DVD starts, but it is fubar. There are artifracts all over the place, and the sound is stuttering. The same thing happens if I choose ffdshow as the default MPEG2 decoder.
Thanks a lot for all help!
Included is the logfiles for the following settings:
MPEG2 Decoder: DScaler Mpeg2 Video Decoder
DVD Navigator: DVD navigator
Audio Renderer: Reclock Audio Renderer
Audio Decoder: AC3 Filter
AC3 Filter (for some soundcards with S/PDIF Out) is checked
DVD Post Processing
ffdshow raw videofilter (Seesaw 1 from 8:13's guide on AVSforum)
Picture is from when I tried to use FFDshow as MPEG2 Video Decoder, and ffdshow raw video filter was disabled.
edit:
Seems like the problem lies with in the CSS decoder. Honestly I have no idea of what maybe causing these problems, but my guess is ffdshow, since DScaler is used by many people for watching DVDs...
