I've been having a few problems recently when I try and ctrl click stuff (outside of MP). I was assuming my G15 keyboard was at fault until I shut MP down and it suddenly started working again.

What I've noticed is if you click an icon on your desktop for instance, then ctrl + click another, it works, if you then try and ctrl click again, nothing happens, until you release the ctrl key and then it just selects that item on it's own.

If you close MP and repeat the test, everything works as it should do. This is repeatable on two different PCs.

Same issue here. Keyboard actions get very slow (lag). Selecting multiple (2+) files with the mouse holding down the ctrl-key is not possible. Mouse lags if any key is pressed.
Closing Mediaportal everything works normal

Is this thread already recognized as "bug-report" ? Or should we post it there again?

I'd kind of assumed I was posting a bug report. Put it in the support section and everything. ;)

Is there something I'm missing?

I'm new to this forum so I may have got thigs confused but if you post in the Support section (as you have)- everyone can have a go at fixing your problem.
However
If you post a Bug Report- this is officialy sent to the Development Team to work on for the next release.

About the bug- Do you have "always on top" switched on from the Config Tool?
I'm not at my HTPC so I can't test till tonight- but if MP is trying to regain Focus (even when minimised) that could explain the strange behaviour

Didn't know that, thanks.

No.

I made an official bug-report, see here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/1-...lagging-39067/

Update:

Ok, there it seems to be solved, read solution there. (MediaPortal Configuration -> Remote -> General HID uncheck "support input if MP is in background").

Bye

Yep, just saw that. Fixed. Thanks Rudi.
