    Hi all!

    I am a little bit desperate. To get my Remote (MS-Tech MC-1200) controlling MP I have to modify the respective XML with the mappings. My problem is, that some keys send combinations like CTRL-#XX, ALT-#XX or even double combinations like CTRL-SHIFT-#XX (codes scanned with HIP). I've been told, that SHIFT-#65 for example is replaced by 10065 aqnd CTRL-#65 with 11065, or maybe vice versa. so what I need to know are the exact code-prefixes for CTRL, SHIFT, ALT and any combinations of them like CTRL-SHFT, CTRL_ALT etc...

    Anyone can help? I shall be very happy! :)

    Regards

    Axel

    AW: Re: CTRL, SHIFT; ALT in remote key mapping

    Tak så mykket - det var ikke svarelsen til spørgsmålet, men det hjælpte indirekt ;-)

    The answer to my question seems to be the following:

    there are three flags that represent ALT CTRL and SHIFT each indicated by 1 (set) or 0 (not set). obviously 0 can be omitted if its the leading flag. the three flags are followd by the keycode in ASCII decimal with three digits and leading zeros (if flags are used). thus, a code consists of ACS|xxx, where A is the ALT flag, C is the CTRL flag, S the SHIFT flag (the | is just to show where the flags end and the key code starts). Given the 0 (ASCII 48) as base key, the following combinations are possible:

    Code:
    ACS|xxx -->   code --> represents

    000|048 -->     48 --> 0
    001|048 -->   1048 --> SHIFT-0
    010|048 -->  10048 --> CTRL-0
    011|048 -->  11048 --> CTRL-SHIFT-0
    100|048 --> 100048 --> ALT-0
    101|048 --> 101048 --> ALT-SHIFT-0
    110|048 --> 110048 --> ALT-CTRL-0
    111|048 --> 111048 --> ALT-CTRL-SHIFT-0

    Maybe that might also help other ppl...

    Regards

    Axel
