erm. dvb-EPG grabbing works out of the box.
XMLTV and WebEPG are included in the MediaPortal installation

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
additional (but recommened) SQL Server Management Studio Express

you noticed that the TV-Server is still B E T A???
which means that it has not been integrated into the main MediaPortal Project yet because the Team wants to get it stable first BEFOR removing the old engine.

Best performance is another issue. Still to many bugs, and in my opinion a VERY bad TV-performance.

Both Internal and streaming is bad.
-Too big a delay on channel switch
-picture quality is very bad compared to other TV-softwares out there.
