Custom Arkwork Problem Driving Me Crazy! (1 Viewer)

I know that you can use custom artwork for your Tv series including posters,seasons etc. Ive checked out the guide http://code.google.com/p/mptvseries/wiki/FAQ but no matter what i do i cant get it to ""See my Custom Artwork". I know the folder path is right C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\MPTVSeriesBanners. Ive tried entering custom artwork, for example under the Series for Fringe ive added custom artwork renamed it to "custom.png" which is correct for the Series but nothing. Please tell me i am able to use .png files as well as .jpg files becuase using jpg isnt an option for my artwork as its creates a background rather than a transparent background for my icon. As a test, ive even tried this option and resaved a copy as a JPEG file, and still i cant get MPTV series to see the custom files under the drop down menu.

Ive even come out of the config altogether and reloaded but that doesnt work either?

Am i naming these correctly please?

Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure what you are doing can be done. Here is why

The whole design is that if you have a show (say Fringe) and you want to use certain graphics, you have to upload them to thetvdb.org so EVERYONE can use them. Custom artwork is only allowed for things that theTVdb will not allow. Like kid's DVDs, Sports, etc.
