Thanks for the reply, may help me to troubleshoot..

I'm using 1.2.2 (Icams) - 168 doesn't work on MSSQL so that's not an option for me.

I did change codecs at the same time as I upgraded - but would codecs cause continuity errors I wonder?

I cannot use LAV codecs for live tv (SD or HD) because I get massive breakup of picture - which makes me wonder if it IS a codec issue.. I do use LAV for mkv playback though, and it works flawlessly for that - even 10bit.

I could go back to an earlier version of SAF maybe..

Am also considering a rebuild with Windows 8 and trying it on that - clutching at straws!!

Software outside of mepo such as Virus scanner?

Inbuilt security essentials others have said could cause continuity errors when I just did a quick search

I uninstalled Security Essentials (which I have always run previously without problem) and still have the same continuity errors!

FFS... reverted to 1.2.1 and it STILL gives continuity errors..

1.2.1 used to work flawlessly for me - so something else is amiss..

Aye looks that way - if there was something fundamentally wrong with mepo then there would be a lot more unhappy waf posts on the forums

I feel your pain though! Am out of ideas tbh apart from pointing at drivers for other components - GPU, network, chipset, sound etc.

No, not sure it isn't hardware related, but what? It's relatively new kit.. In the process of installing Windows 7 SP1 again, and this time, not gonna install Nvidia drivers or SAF and see how that goes..

What a faff!

I am having the same issues and I am using Nvidia also with the 6984. I do believe its the 6984 drivers as they have moved from IRQ interupt to MSI. I have requested an older version to check.

I already asked them for an older version and gave that a try.. I went back to 1.0.1.8 and still had the same problem.. I do believe that version was still IRQ.

I am beginning to suspect Nvidia driver - I always update that when I do a clean install.. But then I have got to the point of suspecting everything now!!

Will see what happens when this build has finished - just installing MP now.

I was using Nvidia driver 295.73 by the way.. I notice there is a new one today, but will hold fire and see what the Windows 7 driver does..
