I've just installed the new TBS 6981 drivers, but I couldn't find the TBSCI.dll in any of the folders? While I was looking around I noticed DJBlue posted a replacement 'TVLibrary' file in another thread, which I also installed into my TV Server folder. So basically I've go the updated TVLibrary and the 6981 drivers, but no TBSCI.dll. Now I can't watch TV, as it just displays 'Unable to create graph'. Please help asap! :)

As a side issue, earlier today I did a new channel scan so that I could add the new Sky Formula 1 channel, but I couldn't seem to find it. Is there something I should know about it? Does it actually have a dedicated channel or does it's name change through the week?

EDIT: I've just tried scanning new channels, and every transponder says no signal, so I presume this is some kind of issue with the TBS 6981 driver. I've installed the older driver (2.0.1.3 - pretty sure that's what I was on originally) but it still doesn't work. Incidentally the 2.0.1.3 driver has a more recent date that the 2.0.1.5 driver

1.2.2 just seems fraught with problems to me - I really wish I could go back to 1.2.1

I went back to a driver for the 6984 and 6981 which I know was working previously - still no joy, so it's not a driver issue. I also don't think it is a DJBlu patch issue. My post in a separate thread has had zero response.

I even tried Owlsroost's tsreader.ax in case that would help things - no joy either!

DJBlu - do you have the 1.2.1 files anywhere? 1.2.2 is pretty much unusable for live tv purposes. Got to the point this morning that every time you change channel you have to reboot the machine to be able to watch the channel. Missus is at the point of demanding that the Sky box goes back in :-(

    What codecs are you using?

My amd drivers are currently on 11.8, been having issues with Microsoft and pdvd tv codecs lately .

Using saf 608, tv codecs, top option set to ms, h264 to lav and audio all lav where possible and all seems well.

Seem to remember pdvd was giving me problems of not being able to change channel/create graph

Tested shift 1 last night, 4 hour period I had 3 dropped frames. Of which 2 were on initial tune

I'm still using 1.2.1, and after reading other comments I don't particularly want to change to 1.2.2 (btw I might have 1.2.1 somewhere if you really can't find it anywhere else)

I'm currently using the LAV codecs, and from past experience, 'graphs' have sometimes been associated with codecs, so I have tried changing these to no avail. The fact that the scan says no signal, firmly points at the TBS drivers in some way, but I don't know what I can do to fix it. All I've done is change the TBS drivers and the 'TVLibrary' file, so it can't be anything apart from those two.

I get black screens and pixelation with PDVD11 psykix if thats what your seeing - if I set both to LAV, I get a black screen going from non hd to HD but both have perfect picture on their own. I changed it so that non hd uses MSDTV and HD LAV. No problems to report.

1.2.1 attached, think its the right files your looking for.

TBSCiapi file spacemanc can't find if you still require

    Thanks for the files!

What tuner cards do you have? I take it you have TBS cards - and are using 1.2.2, which begs the question why are you not having the same issues???

Wish I could get to the bottom of it, as reverting back to 1.2.1 is not really a long term solution!

One thing I have noticed lately which I have never noticed before, is that .grf files are generated for each tuner - not sure what these are or if they have any relation to the issues I am having..

As far as I am aware, those new TV Library and TBS dll files are only for 1.2.2 - that was why I upgraded in the first place.

I have a tbs 6981, I had no issues with 1.2.2 and the tbs patches - using the 168 installer.

I rolled back to lcams over weekend as I wanted the channel group patch and can't seem to be able to compile djblu's git branch.

I have 2 systems on lcams and 1 on djblus modified, no tuning issues on all 3.

Only issues I had were to do with codecs. Lav only codec which seems to work flawlessly for me.

Ms dtv pixelates on tune and every now and then - only on h264

Pdvd11 I get black screens on some tune requests

Lav perfect on both except it doesn't like going from Sd to hd, using ms on Sd and lav on hd, all good :D
