Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (4 Viewers)

Since installing 1.2.0.6 I too have lost the series link option!!

I have repaired this.

I thought I hadn't uploaded the file as it was before the modification I had done.

I'll upload the file later.

There will be a short while between the next update and the one after as I am converting the code to C# for upload.

I'll keep you all updated as to how I am getting on.

Hi DJBlu , ive installed your SKY IT plugin
first of all compliments for the marvelous work

Ive found a couple of problems
after the scan , channels doesnt have the provider name ( a minor problem )
all HD chans are doubled but none are working
if i do a new scan some chans are doubled but remains unchecked
and chans doesnt use the Sky category names

I tryed 1.2.0.6 today but it would only add 125 channesl.. But it did scan over 900. but did not add them all.

I'm stuggling to get this to work. I've installed the patches (1.1.6.27839) and the freesat dll over 1.2.0 Beta. I've deleted all existing channels.

In the config programme, under plugins, I click on Grab Now.
What happens is:
The Freesat Channel Scanner text all gets greyed out, but the button is still enabled.
Nothing happens on the cards (both remain idle), and nothing written to any log file.

Just been messing with the code and found I can get the full Channel Scan and EPG import down to 60 seconds on first install down from 440seconds. Then 40 seconds for each update after.

I'll upload the file tommorow.

Running MSSQL

Will drop the database and rebuild.

Dropping the database, and more importantly, making sure I'd put the custom grabber DLL in the right folder (doh!) got this working.

I now have just the freesat channels, not the FTA sky ones (e.g. BBC HD).
Can I run both grabbers - or do I cause chaos? - the sky one gives me the error "Try deleting the sky uk grabber channel and ensure mapping i..."

Also, no EPG from the freesat grabber, and I seem to have a vast quantity of ITVs and Channel 4s, as the Freesat grabber works on England, rather than London.

How can I easily delete EPG data? Don't really want to delete the channels, because I have a load hidden and reorganised.

Just want to force it to overwrite the EPG data since series link wasn't working - otherwise I need to wait until Thursday for the EPG to catch up!

If there is no easy way, then I will just have to suffer til next week!! (Or rather the missus will....)
