I don't know what you mean by HD pin m8?

In 1.2 you can set in mediaportal.XML a string for it to look for in the programme description such as [HD] and it will add a HD logo to the programme in the title in the guide, like the recording pin shows next to the title if you set it to record.

I think I know where these flags are, It will take a little trial and error to find out which are which but I'm sure I can add it later on.

well blown the dust off the old Sky HD box.

I have found the information and will upload a file later that will allow the HD flags etc.

They will be in the following format.

[HD] = High Definition
[SUB] = Subtitles
[AD] = Audio Description
[W] = Widescreen
[CP] = Programme has Copy Protection
= Stereo
[DS] = Dolby Surround
[DD] = 5.1 Dolby Digital

I need to sort the code out to add these to the descriptions as they are transmitted with the titles. Should take longer than an hour or so.

Can you show me where to find how to add these pins as I'd like to add this to my media centre thanks.

also noticed[HD][AD,S].

BBC 1 HD seems to generally have flags on them.

The BBC do have these already but all the other channels don't.

The flags will be entered at the end of the summary, like the BBC has. The skin files now look for this data and show an icon instead which is pretty cool.
I'll upload it in a few minutes.

Wherabouts do these show? i.e. on which screen? Info screen or somewhere else?

Not sure if it is just me, but 1.2.0 beta seems a bit more flaky than 1.2.0 alpha was - I just can't put my finger on what the problems are (not to do with this plugin I don't think)

The kids were watching CBeebies in two different rooms earlier, and both were playing a different programme although it was the same channel - it seemed that the main server was looping the channel or something, and it required a reboot to get it back working properly. Picture seems more glitchy too, but that could be to do with switching to SAF 6.0.. I'm going to try PDVD11 and see if that resolves things..

One thing I noticed with the CBeebies thing, was that although the guide said it was Mr Maker, the picture was actually a different programme.. was very weird.. The client in the other room was showing the correct programme.

Tested the new version and now sky italy maps all channel in the correct order. The only problem is that some channels are not applied to groups (like Discovery Real). But this is a minor problem...

Edit: sorry there is one more problem: HD channels are configured with the wrong modulation (16 QAM) where is should be 8psk (or at least not defined also work).

I post this again since I edited the message later and maybe you've missed it. I think there is some problem with the modulation of hd channels...

Hi DJBlu all working well here too.

Any chance of adding into the program description the HD, DD, S, SL tags like you get on the Sky guide? Would make it easier to tell which programs are in HD using the new HD pin in 1.2beta

Where it says "You can get the HD icon to display using one of these methods..." it should say "You can get the HD icon to display by doing both of the following...".

The EPG is what needs to be deleted but its just as easy to remove all channels and rescan.
