No, just install these over the top of your current install.

I have updated to the latest version. During startup of MP, it says 1.2.2.0, in MP Settings, it say 0.0.0.0. And when MP actually starts, I get a black screen.

Just gives a black screen after "loading plugins"

I'll try a fresh install..

EDIT : Breaks a virgin install too :-(
