ok thanks for info, i know its still available on sky free to air as i know someone with a freesat from sky option, i can get it listed but cant view it due to signal
Men & Motors doesn't exist any more, you must be thinking of something else...Motors TV, perhaps? That channel is non-subscription but it's encrypted so you need a Freesat From Sky card to get it.
u know i have no idea why i put that in my last post, i did indeed mean motors tv and that would explain the problem, many thanks and sorry for the confusion. Time for a coffee and some matchsticks or a new brain!
Does the tbs branch just require the tbsciapi.dll? I remember the tbsci branch requiring tvlibrary.dll and another file replacing or is this all merged now?
Seem to be running with slower times since upgrading the tbs driver and the tbs branch. will re-check my install but thought I would double check
Is there a specific driver version to use as well? Just grabbed the new one off the tbs site
Current s2 change around 6 secs, which if I remember was the sort of times we were getting pre mod.
Anyone running the branch able to tell me their change times? switching from say bbc2 to ch4 hd
I'm getting the same results as onelegend.
Im running windows 7 ultimate 32bit and a tbs 6981 card with 2.0.1.5 drivers. The dll is in the tv server folder and I have the .173 tbs version installed. SD channels change quick within a second or 2.
Changing to a HD channel even from another HD channel can take 4-6 seconds.
With 2.0.0.18 drivers it's taking about 2 seconds changing to HD channels.
Is there any advantage to the newer drivers coz I haven't noticed any issues with the older drivers?
I used to run the tbs branch before and it definitely used to be faster than the 2.0.1.8 driver. I'll play around with it later to see what's going on unless djblu has any ideas
Could there be something not triggering the s2 parameter on hd channels?
ch4 hd appears to work as expected and is vfast so I believe the mod is present and function, just not with all channels
attached tv log, let me know if a full debug log is needed
