Hi all,

Just noticed looking forward through my EPG 2 or 3 hours that it starts to become "No Data Available" on every channel!.................however, a manual GRAB gives per the following screenshot:-

It normally updates just fine!

Any ideas?

You'll see from my post on page 139 that I have the same problem roughly every 7 days. Not a major problem, but still annoying and I agree that 'Grab Now' would be very useful in the GUI.

Last night I had a different problem for the first time. 'Grab now' appeared to not be working as the info that scrolls down as it updates was not appearing. After checking the EPG log, it was indeed updating, it just wasn't showing the progress of the update.

This is a fluke condition where the update is done by the timer and you press the update button.

Quick question, is there a way to remove the groups permanently. For example I do not want the Adult group as I'd rather my kids were not able to watch them (And they are so crap I don't ever watch them anyway ).

I have tried deleting the groups in the settings, but they just reappear in the next grab.

Rename the "Adult" Channel Group to "All Channels" in the Sky Grabber settings.

This will add the chennels to the All Channels group and will not add the group again.

Another question

Is there anyway to populate the seriesNum and episodeNum fields in the program table?

This way I can then have it correctly label series in MP TV Series plugin when they record.

I note that on the first page you say that the NZ work is 1/2 complete. Although I am using Miroslavs tv alterations, you're work seems more complete when it comes to channels groupings and autofinding of changes to the satellite network. What do you need to complete this area, apart from probably more time If you need any SKY NZ TS streams, I can provide them for you.

Hi to all,
This is my first post on this forum. At the point of writing this I have only being using MP for a week but thanks to DJBlu's work I am hooked. I was using WMC previously and was happy with the setup (primarily) but one of the biggest issues was guide data. I found out that unless the program had a repeat tag, series linking would record all instances. The only decent place I could get the EPG data from was MS (but this was incomplete and hit and miss). Anyway, I started tinkering with MP to see if it could sway me, then when I spotted this plugin I was converted.
DJBlu's solution is perfect. To be able to setup the HTPC and then not have to worry about the basics is a blessing. I enjoy tinkering with my HTPC but do prefer it to work with the basics when needed. This plugin goes a long way to making this happen.

My only small question to anyone in the know, is it possible to add the Series Link option to the record menu on the search page. If you look at the screenshots I have attached you can see I dont have the option to Record Series. In the EPG it is fine and if I view the program details / view Upcoming Episodes I get the option right at the bottom. But when I do a search I dont.
(also is it possible to reduce the number of items in the list on the popup menu in the screenshots [i would prefer to only have Record Once / Record Series])

Any help from anyone who may be able to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
