Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (3 Viewers)

It's an issue in the TV Plugin. It will happen if the data is out of range. i.e. a film that started 2 hours ago.

I'll take a look into it.

P.S. Sky send 7.5 days woth of EPG data.

Try deleting the freesat grabber channel and scanning again.

Tried this but its still not working.
I try to do a manual grab and i get

grabber set to grab 60 seconds of data
error occurred: novideoaudiodetected

if i do a regular scan then try and use the stations they all work. could it be that the usb dvb-s2 devices have shifted hardware id's and the freesat scanner hasnt detected the change?

I've done a full uninstall and reinstall and still no luck

Anyone. Its driving me crazy how its stopped working

Yes I did full uninstall when dialog prompts for database check and drop

Hi there,

Is there any reason why the plugin handles "modnotset" differently to standard/Miroslav's version?

I have noticed this is the case with my Hauppage Nova cards.

I have had a nightmare getting this working...it kept reporting "Nosignaldetected" on a grab.....eventually got it working by setting diseqc (I think that eventually fixed it - tried changing lots!)

Are there any special requirements for me to run PS++ with this plugin?
I don't currently sleep my single seat, and decided to start doing so - installed it and set it plug & play to Desktop profile.

It doesn't seem to do anything though.. I set it to sleep after 5min to test, but nowt happened.. And would I need to wake it to do EPG grab or will that happen automatically? I presume I would need to set a specific EPG grab time rather than the default 3 hour grabs it does now.

No, just install and enable.

If the system isn't sleeping something is preventing it in windows

I believe on the advanced page of ps it will show what/if anything is preventing sleep

USB devices quite often poll the USB which will also prevent sleep and wake the system (this includes mice)

Right heres what i've done so far.
1 fully unistalled including dropping db
2 uninstalled mysql
3 installed sql server express
4 reinstalled 1.2.3
5 checked i could scan for channels (then deleted channels)
6 stopped service
7 installed Setup-TvEngine-git-1.2.3.253.Custom.Data.Grabber.Series.Link.zip
8 copied Custom Data Grabber.dll into c:\program files\team mediaportal\tv server\
9 copied Freesat Channel and EPG Scanner.dll into c:\program files\team mediaportal\tv server\plugin
10 started service
11 enable plugin
12 setup the plugin to use my dvb-s2 cards
13 clicked grab now and i still get

grabber set to grab 60 seconds of data
error occurred: novideoaudiodetected

Try this
Delete the Freesat EPG Grabber channel.
Change the Service ID to 10551 in Cards/Mapping.
Scan again.

If this doesn't work then try this.

Delete the Freesat EPG grabber channel.
Change the Service ID to 10530 in Cards/Mapping.
Scan Again. It will probably not work.
Do a single transponder scan on one of your cards with the following details
11438 Horizontal 27500
This will update the channel details.
Now try scanning with the grabber.

Change the Service ID to 10551 in Cards/Mapping.
Scan again.

If this doesn't work then try this.

Delete the Freesat EPG grabber channel.
Change the Service ID to 10530 in Cards/Mapping.
Scan Again. It will probably not work.
Do a single transponder scan on one of your cards with the following details
11438 Horizontal 27500
This will update the channel details.
Now try scanning with the grabber.
