Slight problem with my planned rebuild - seems I sold the Perc 6/i card at some point lol!!

Will post some logs up the next time I get a crash - I'm beginning to wonder if I am suffering the same problem as noworries. When I look in the manual control tab, one of my tuners will have spawned multiple epg grabbing streams, and they seem to just keep increasing. No idea how to tell how many instances it is running though..

That is exactly what is happening, i managed to stop it doing it by disabling the schedule in the plugin. Although weirdly it still grabbed the epg but i thought that was why series link didnt work so re enabled it and it has not done it since. will post again if it does.

I can confirm i'm getting this too. Went away last week when i came back i had a 450GB ts file lol. Its random it can go for weeks then it happends

Planning a wedding at the moment so weekends are a premium these days.

The priority will be the Timeshift bug, I'll look at the Series Link issue also. Can you explain how it happens? Is it at the end of every scheduled recording that they are deleted? Did this happen on older versions? The more you can let me know the easier it will be to fix.

It deletes the schedule after the show has finished recording. Would any of the logs help?

The multiple streams on epg grab issue only occurs when the schedule is enabled. Although it still grabs the epg with it turned of???

Have not used a previous version so cant help on that front.

Yes, can confirm... Recording has just finished, and it deleted the schedule. I'm sure this issue was fixed in an earlier version of the plugin - I'll need to look back through the thread.

If I can figure out which one worked with series link, then I can use that as I still have them all I think.

Hi DJBlu Firstly nice job on the new plugin really fast now!!

However i've found a couple of things i'd like to bring to your attention.

#1 quite a serious issue. If a channel gets deleted by hand or if the plugin removes it for some reason on the next scan it will start messing up big time. for example if sky sports 2 was deleted. on the next scan sky sports 2 would overwrite a random channel somewhere else in the channel lists (but not in the place it should be in). then on each scan that follows it will keep moving sky sports 2 overwriting a random channel each go. I wont keep on you can see it for yourself by just deleting a channel then scan and look a the log window and then scan again and it should overwrite another.

#2 is if a channels details gets changed is will keep changing the details on every scan eg the another night a channel changed to argos tv. now in each scan is says argos tv changed name to argos tv lol.

To fix both these issues clearing the channel list and rescaning fixes it. But i have my own channels from another network in the list so everytime this mucks up i have to rescan them also.

#3 i'll get back to you about after more testing..

Hi all just worked out a temp fix for problem #1 that i reported yesterday. in the general tab if you change delete expired channels to move to group and empty the box so it has no group in it. Then when the grabber finds a channel that has gone it removes it from the group but does not delete it or put it in a group. as the group is blank. So in MP the sky line up is correct and we dont get the same error as in #1 above. This is only till DJBlu has time to sort it for real.

I saw this with 1.2.0.6, 1.2.0.5 doesn't seem to be affected.

OK, bit weird but despite the schedule being disabled in the plugin it is still grabbing the epg?? Not that this is a problem coz obviously i want the epg but weird none the less. There has also not been any more multiple streams being created by the grabber since disabling the schedule.

I saw this with 1.2.0.6, 1.2.0.5 doesn't seem to be affected.

I still get the index out bounds error on 1.2.0.9, even my little trick of scanning the transponder first isn't helping. 1.2.0.5 is OK though...

I've just checked the disappearing series link problem. The recording schedule is actually deleted as soon as a recording STARTS - not at the end of the recording.
