Hi DJBlu,

can you please post an updated version of the sky italy plugin too? Just for testing.

I also ask you, if possible, to provide a complete patch for compiling the tvserver/mediaportal side of this feature. This will allow us (testers) to better test the patch also with latest SVNs.

Thanks again for you great work, I think this is a feature that should be included in future versions of MP.

Is anyone else having issues with channels becoming unticked and disapearing from the channel groups?
Also still getting the custom grabber ts files being kept,
just put V 10 on so hopefully soem of this goes away!

If it doesnt I'l post some logs.

Yeah looking good DJBlu thats seams to have fixed a lot of things on my setup. Apart from the deleted channels overwriteing others. Maybe oneday i guess. Heres my tv.log

Just tested this and see what you mean, I'll take a look at it.

I think I have fixed the multiple files streams opening. I will upload later.

Quite a simple fix, just shows what goes un-noticed when I rush.

Sounding Scitzophrenic here quoting myself but there is a new Custom Data Grabber.dll on the first post.

Just overwrite your old version.

Should prevent the multiple timeshift files.

Hold up on installing.

Being a bit of a tit at the minute. Need to engage brain.

Just copy over the old file with the new one.

This will stop the multiple timeshifting.

How this works is

If the TVServer tunes to a channel and the signal disappears it will check for this by checking the filesize. If it doesn't improve over 10seconds it will stop.

If the TVServer stops for any reason whilst timeshifting it will use the above method and will stop.

You'll be pleased to know I have managed to get the TV Plugin to Zap to channels that are outside of the Group Selected.

i.e. You are watching 106 - Sky1/1HD, you wish to zap to Sky Sports 1, normal route? Open TV Guide -> Select Sports --> Select Sky Sports 1

Not anymore.

Watch Sky 1/1HD, press 401 and watch Sky Sports 1.

I will upload it in a few minutes.

This only works when you are watching TV, if you are browsing the TV Guide then you need to select the group.

To allow this to work you need to open MediaPortal Configuration --> TV -->

Untick - Select Channel by Index
Tick - Show Channel Numbers
Ensure channel max length is 3 or greater.

Check the first page for the updated TVServer/Plugin Setup.

I have colour icons on my Harmony One touch screen for the channels, but they stopped working once I used groups, so this will be useful!
