Cyberlink / PowerColor remote mapping for MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

I hope this works! i have the same issue! thanks so much for posting, I was thikning I was up a creek with my remote and trying to config! Will post if i run into any issue!

OK I have 3 issues

BUT FIRST TY!

1) The home button only launches a default internet browswer page
2) Music Button Does not work
3) The skip FWD button does not work. I have tried it manytimes and dnw. The FFW works fine.

the HID plugin link isn't available, ther's another way to have it?

Works like a charm, just need some personal configuration.

The HID-plugin has moved to Autohotkey HID-device-support

To fix the music button problem:

Enter MP config -> remote -> General HID -> mapping

and change "music favorites" to "music files" in both conditions.

Every time when i start the script it give a error code 3, with the previous windows install it works fine.

what is the problem?

never mind found the problem, whas forgotten to install visual C++

I have just installed this, it seems great, but in the PlugIns section of MediaPortal config, nothing to do with CyberLink shows up?

Does anybody know anything about this ?

Ressurecting a bit of an old thread here but....Just bought a cheapo cyberlink remote from scan for a fiver( i know i'm a frivolous so and so arent I)
anyway works brilliantly apart from a few functions-dvd, pictures and the home key starts media center LOL)
ive had a look in the hid mappings but cant seem to find any correlation between these buttons..?????????
