Daemon Tools problem (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I've got 0.2.3.0 stable and have also tried the SVN. My problem is with getting iso to play via daemon tools from within Mediaportal. The iso get mounted by daemon tools however mediaportal just brings up the error unable to play disc. If I then go to powerdvd it will play the mounted iso fine, but in mediaportal it just refuses to play the mount drive, even if I go into my videos and select the drive via the i button.

Have tried the svns, and also different versions of daemons tools, any ideas?

I have setup daemon tools with the defaults settings, 1 drive as e: (0). All options are off... ie no secure mode, no automount, no autostart etc. Have also setup mediaportal, to this effect matching drive letter and drive 0. Have setup .iso as a video type.

Initially tried had the cyberlink codes (7.x) but have also tried the dscaler ones? Do we think it could be codec related. These codecs work fine for normal dvds....

Its wierd that after the iso is mounted although it refuses to play in mediaportal i can go over to powerdvd and it plays.

One thing that might have something to do with it it the windows autplay popped up initlally and i clicked take no action, should you do something else when this happens?

    Hi,
You don't need to add any extra file settings to get they mounted with daemon tools(it does by itself).
In emulation: nothing should be selected, in option: Automount, Autostart & tray icon should be selected.

    Regards

I have managed to sort it, it was to do with the codecs. For some reason it did not like the cyberlink codecs and it works fine on the MPV and MPA codecs...

    Cheers,
