Just a quick note.
i "full-complied version" would be nice. We could install a "Maya Dark" parallel to Maya (like edited skin info .xml etc).

I could do it myself of course but not everyone can/is willing.

hmmm shame on me -
i stil have little problems with the MPI ...
and the compilation of all features is something the Maya-Crew can do ...

BUT this will be something i wil also fix in the future (my own MPI problems)...
so i 'll try to bring a full-compiled version...
(mybe joost could give me a helping hand :-D )

hi polarie, thanks for this great mod!
one request though... i really love your splashscreen and would like to use it as desktop-backround.
im using a plasma screen and have had bad experience with white symbols temporary "burning-in".
Is it possible for you -without much trouble- to give us an alternate splashscreen without the white mp logo
or maybe also in the light blue from the font?

that would be really awesome!

well i only can give u a "different" wallpaper ...
it is not 100% the same as the splash-screen ...
the dark-maya symbol is bigger i think ...
but it looks near the same (without any white symbols)..
