Just to give further information on this problem. I did say in a previous post that the GF's laptop couldn't connect. I put in place a static IP address on this machine and it is now back to working like a charm.
So in summary, all the PC's in the house now have static IP addresses, and all can connect to the TV server without problem.
Once again, thanks to all who helped and gave advice, I'm very grateful.
