Database keeps disapearing part 2!!! (1 Viewer)

Actually, I had read Inker's input, and I thought I had corrected the problem, until after you had closed the thread and I looked again and for some reason it had gone back to the \\UNC location for the database, which, after I changed to local (for the second time, I thought), the problem seems to have gone away so far. The reason I changed the thread name was because after I thought the issue had been solved and a new one popped up, people who might have information to help with the new problem wouldn't know to look in that thread because the title of it was for the old problem (which I thought had been fixed). I was the poster in the old thread. I no longer seem to be having any codec or db problems after I copied the MediaPortal directories from another HTPC I have which works fine to the problem PC, so whatever my problem was, copying the working files over seemed to fix it. My DB is 147 seasons with 705 seasons and 9,535 episodes, so rebuilding was NOT fun, nor would I want to have to do it as often as DutchTerror is doing it.
