Database Vs Shares (Viewing Full Artist names not just 1st Letter) (1 Viewer)

Hiya All - Just started using this last night (downloaded 0.2.3.0 from the frontpage) and got my head around some of the slowness issues with My Music and my NAS but here's something I hope you can help with.

If I use the "Share" view in My Music/Videos etc the lag accessessing my NAS (UNC'd not mapped) is around a minute (which I was expecting as it has to interogate the NAS) and using Icons it shows the following

"Artist - Album" (with the album art above it)

This is great and exactly the view I'm after but the NAS lag is annoying so I change my View to Artist (so it uses MP's database instead) and the speed is instant (great) but the Icons all change to blank and the instead of

"Artist - Album" - I now just get the 1st letter (A-Z) which I then have to click to see the bands, then click again on an album (with the album art)

Is there anyway of having the Database View exactly the same as the Shares View (artist AND album WITH album art not just the 1st letter)

In the music section of the configuration program you can change the views to your needs... For example you can simply delete the "group" operator which will then remove "the first letter view" and directly show your artists from a to z with their full names.

Can't give you any specific instructions to get your view, but just play around a little bit

Cheers - I've now done that and it's better but can you have both Artist AND Album displayed together with the album art too? i.e

Metallica - Master of Puppets...........................Metallica - And Justice.............................Metallica - Metallica

And not

Merauder..............................Metallica............................Neurosis

I've gone through the Wiki help pages but nothing really explains "How-To" on the views section (like what does all the < > = etc actually do).
