I am currently residing in south africa, and wanted some help from experts on DVB-S Tv cards
My current set-up is as follows: I have 8 Satelite dishes which tapes 8 channels on to 16 LG 180GB DVD Recorders. While 8 dvd recorders is taping, i am cleaning up the other 8 with the previous days recordings on to DVD's and so on...
This is the only way I know how to do this, but in my eyes there must be a simpler way!
I was thinking of getting a DVB-S Tv card with PCMCIA slot for CAM but i don't know which ones are the best, or which cam to use... the idea is to only have about 4 pc's or laptops with the TV card's in it, and then taping multiple channels at once on them all. Don't know if this is possible though?
I Would like to then Use Mediaportal as my frontend to run an manage all of this
If anyone can please brainstorm with me on this...
