I use that tactic, often I dont get any sleep at all though, if Playhouse disney isnt running at 07.00 its bad, REALLY bad

I commented out all the GC.Collect() and GC.WaitForPendingFinalizers() statements in SVN 21688 and it might be placebo, but MP seems to be a little faster, especially when starting/stopping videos and returning to the basic home screen. I haven't had any adverse effects, yet (keeping my fingers crossed).
