Ok so this is what I did;

Both subtitle and audio settings set to English, override for Audio to be set as default.

LAV Splitter I have left alone.

Went back to that same file, and everything works as it should.

I have also enabled subtitles in Settings from within MP. Each time I go to a movie, I have to enable subtitles manually?
