Default My Music view (1 Viewer)

Can anybody tell me how to configure the default used view in My Music. Somehow I always get het 'Shares' view. I don't want to use that view (cause its slow when having lots of (sub)folders). I want to use a custom view (based on the data in the music database). I know you can change the view from the 'Switch View' menu but I don't want to do that each time.

In MP Configuration -> Music -> Music Views there is indeed a dropdown at the top (called View) which lists all the available views. Only this dropdown is used to switch between te views to be able to alter the configuration of it. NOT to set it as the default to use view when going to My Music in Mediaportal.

Is the problem skin related? I don't want to use another skin.

well you normally use the side bar to change the view and it should keep the last setting you chose...
