Yes, I would order by recording date... but I would also group by schedule.
This is nearly the same as MP1 did now. As I remove (cut, convert, add to series (movies) folder) recordings daily this grouping is not important to me. But I'm definitely not against it

For example, "record all programs with Attenborough in the description" (ie. want to record nature shows). Maybe people would not like them all in one folder?
That's why we need this to be highly configurable... ;)

This is a good point. Personally I prefer separate folders in all cases, but I'm sure some people are different to me.
So for a default, what works best?
Could we model compilations and greatest hits differently than other multi-disc albums?

    Hi.
I think this is no big deal at all. Trust on the users tagging and there you go. I have tagged them as a single disk and for that the hierarchy should always be
"Album Artist -> Album -> Track"
As it would be nasty to go through Disk Number every time also there is only one to choose from.

You've tagged them as multi disk so the hierarchy should be.
"Album Artist -> Album -> Disk Number -> Track"
For me the same when I choose to have those albums tagged as multi disk...

Yes, I would order by recording date... but I would also group by schedule. So for example, if you have a "series link" record for the "Game of Thrones" series, I would like to see them in one folder. It maybe becomes more debatable if you have a schedule rule for something that is not a series. For example, "record all programs with Attenborough in the description" (ie. want to record nature shows). Maybe people would not like them all in one folder?
In current state this is not possible: we do not query the TVE recordings database, but only work on the recording files. So we know only the single "raw" (recording) video file and some information like channel, description, start-/end time. For more grouping fields we need to extend the recording aspect and add logic to the metadata extractor.

MP2 is definitely missing the "recently added" and "unwatched" movie filters, these were generally the only ones I used with MP1, and are must to not have to go through tons of movies to find the ones I just added.
