Hello,

having some problems with the mini display from soundgraph.
more or less - all is working fine but with a predictable delay of 16seconds?!?
that means, when I start MP 16sec later the display is working finde. When i switch to e.g. my Video here also about 16sec later i will get the right display...

everything else is working fine and without any issues (the dela is only on the soundgraph display).

here short summary of the system:

TV-Server Version: 1.0.0.0
MediaPortal Version: 1.0.0.0
MediaPortal Skin: Blue3wide 1.0.0.0
Windows Version: Windows Vista Ultimate
CPU Type: AMD Dual Core 4450e
HDD: 250SATA
Memory: 2GB
Motherboard: GA-MA78GM-S2H
Video Card: ATI on board
Sound Card: on board
1. TV Card: none

Cooling: yes ;-)
Power Supply: 350W

iMON FW 0x380102
LCD HID OEM

I tried it with the standard externat display plugin and also with the CybrDisplay.
as already sayed - it is working but with such alarge delay thatit will become useles.

hi,

here you are ... but it is always the same. even when I uncheck all checkboxes.
I also recogized that when i close MP it will take some time until I will be able to open the MP-Configuration (message says that MP is still running. This can also become tracked by the automatic restart of the iMON SW).

thanks a lot

Hi Simone,

many thanks for the fast response - which driver do you mean? this a clean new installation of OS and MP. At MP I changed nothing next to installing the cybr-display plugin. Also with the included external display plugin the behave is the same.

b.t.w. I have some more details for you:

- When checking the box 'use large icons' these will become displayed from scatch. The rest of the information is delayed also from start. (see picuture #1 below)
- During the work of MP also the other large icons for the Folders (Music, Video ...) becomes late (about predictable 16secs ;-)
- Onging information (time, filename, ID3tags ...) become delayed (within the same time frame) as well as the shut down of MP itselve. (see picture #2 below)

Regarding the shutdown (here my remote sends an alt+f4 signal) I would assume that it becomes killed immediatly. Nevertheless it looks that only the GUI becomes closed and the process keeps on running for some further time.

I have done some pictures below ...
1. you can see the startup
1.a only iMON is running
1.b direct after start of MP
1.c several seconds later
1.d several seconds later after navigating to the wether plugin in the GUI

2. playing a mp3 file (activated equalizer in the cybr-plugin)
2.a after navigating to the music pluging, starting the file and waiting several seconds
2.b more than 16secs later
2.c also ID3 tags become viewed (again several seconds later)

all in all - no scrolling mechanism at all. better descriped as a slide show.

many greetings
Wolf

    I'm refering to MiniDisplayLibrary.dll.
You don't need to install _anything_ in 1.0, the Minidisplay is already under plugins !

hmmm - this library is placed direct in the MP folder ... however these are my versions viewable in OS and in the MP-Config.
If there is a newer one than in the installation package, would you so kind and provide me a hint where I can find it.

    thanks

    hi,
did a further test ... I reinstalled XP prof and MP 1.0.0 on the same HW.
And here it is the same next to the update intervall. This will work now in round 4secs instead of 7secs as under Vista.

b.t.w. I remeber some time ago it was working, but do not exactly rememer what I have done. It was because of another plugin where I swaped the process.dll with anyone from the forum and back again. But I do not find this dll anymore (next to the thread).

ergo: it points definitly to an issue regarding this plugin in MP...

    thanks
