Deleting banners... (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to delete or disable certain banners? I have it set to randomly assign banners and some of the banners don't have names on or are in another language so I want to disable or delete them so they are not used.

This is currently not possible. Foreign language banners will however not be downloaded anymore as soon as this is supported by the interfaces.

Blank images I guess aren't of much use at all.....

OK thanks. For anyone else in the same boat as me I have got around this by ether editing the banners directly (adding names etc...) or copying one of the other banners I do like over the top of it.

I know this takes time but worth it to know what the show is quickly!

Hope this helps anyone else until a better fix is coded.

OK thanks. For anyone else in the same boat as me I have got around this by ether editing the banners directly (adding names etc...) or copying one of the other banners I do like over the top of it.

I know this takes time but worth it to know what the show it quickly!

What do you mean by everytime you update the banners change? If you manually chose a banner it should stay that way, are you saying this isn't happening and did you try with the latest svn?

I can confirm this also... everytime I update my DB all the specific banners that I've spent ages selecting are randomly replaced with ones that I don't want to use. This has been happening for a while (I have made sure that the "Use Random Banners" option is unchecked).

The main reason it annoys me is because the type of "Season" banners that the plugin ususally ends up selecting are always wrong. I use the Revision skin, and the season banners should be the DVD Cover ones (400 x 578 ) in order to look best . Instead, the plugin almoist always selects the wide Header Banner (758 x 140) which looks terrible.

This is the only real problem I have with this plugin... I love it!!!

I guess your using the last stable build? I fixed this in current svn builds. A new stable release should arrive soon.
