Hello,

following an issue with the Installation of Mediaportal/Deploytool.

MediaPortal Version: 1.1.2
Windows Version: Windows 7, 64bit(Englisch/German)
CPU Type: AMD 5050e
HDD: 1,5TB WD15EADS
Memory: 8GB
Motherboard: Asus M4A78-E
DVB-T: Compro VideoMate T200
DVB-S2: Digitale Devices Cine S2

I once successfully installed Mediaportal as Server on an old Win XP box.

I'm now about to install the final set-up using a dedicated Box as TV Server and some other home automation stuff.

So far I was not able to install Mediaportal as dedicated TV Server.
I used Installer 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. Both with the very same result.
I made several attempts with fresh Windows 7, 64 bit in both English and German.

The automated installtion stopps always at the point where the deploy tool should download the mySQL/64 part.
Be it in download only mode or in download/install mode.

Any ideas on how to get around this?
Any further Info needed to help out in this?

Thank in advace.

    Hello SiLenTYL,

many thanks for your response. :D
I appreciate your input as indeed your hint is very valuable as the second installation directory is not visible at first hand.
According to an item in the Wiki I have done as you suggested. Unfortunetly with no positive result.
I tried lots of criss cross variations.
Several fresh installations of W7 64 en
Several fresh installations of W7 64 de
Also removing the two describes SubDirs after a first install did not help.

The only time I was been able to runn through a successfull installation of the TV Server setup was when running on a fressly installed W7 32 prof de-DE.

Otherwise I experience the fowwowing two different stages of the problem as described in the following post:

    Thanks again and
    best regards
