Hi.
I've made some MediaPortal wallpapers for the following skins 3DMP-Blue, BlueTwo, MCE and MetalMedia. I have used a different font and color for the "MediaPortal" text than the one this site uses. Please let me know what you think and also CREDIT TO THE SKIN MAKERS AND LOGO DESIGNER.

you don't need a special program to install bootskins, just add an additional line to the boot.ini with /kernel=Filename where Filename is the filename of the modified Ntoskrnl.exe

after editing the file could look like
Code:
[boot loader]
timeout=1
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /kernel=BootLogo.exe
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

you could remove the second entry but I usually keep it in case something is wrong with the modified ntoskrnl.exe
