    Hi MPers,

I've been developing an xmltv replacement (WebEPG), which is nearing beta. So I am looking for a few testers for a pre-beta version.

It currently works with the following websites:

    www.fernsehen.ch
    www.tvtoday.de

However, it is configurable to work with hopeful any site (must have program information as a LIST not a GRID). I would also like a few people in other area that can help building and test new web site config files. Most of the web site currently supported by xmltv should work.

First to answer the big question:

    Q. Why develop a xmltv replacement ?

    A. The C# replacement is faster, can be configured by files (no script programing required), supports a different web site per channel and is currently built on the MP TVprogram code so in the future I hope to bypass the xmltv file all together and put the EPG information directly in the database.

So those interested raise your hands now!

    /James

I have Switzerland channels covered

It will be open source and as already stated I hope to intergrate it into MP
    so no seperate program.

    James,

I am interrested too in testing your C# EPG grabber. I can do it for both variants (Flemish and French) in Belgium. So, let me know how I can get it and help you...

    Regards, Henry-)

Are there any free web sites in the US for TV listings that don't require registration and login?
