Dies streaming .pls (shoutcast) work with onlinevideos? (1 Viewer)

I tried to create an entry with a channel linking to a .pls file. It just blinked and nothing happened. Is this possible? I think the video is x264. I usually stream using vlcplayer or winamp.

No pls won't work, just create a valid rss xml file instead of the pls, that should do it.

Thanks for the advice. I'm pretty unfamiliar with that, is there somewhere I can find some instructions to make a rss xml?
