Different Menu Properties? (1 Viewer)

I am wondering about this curious observation:

I have two computers running the same version of MediaPortal. One is on XP Pro SP3 and the other on Vista Ultimate. Using the same skin, in the main menu (myHome.xml) on the Vista platform, the highlight bar behind the selected item stays still and the text scrolls. On the XP platform, however, the bar scrolls up or down until it is on the next to last (or first) menu item, then the text scrolls. So the bar is moving up and down but it stays fixed on the Vista system.

Anyone got any ideas?
