We are very sorry to inform you that the small TV-Card specialist from Austria, Digital Everywhere, will stop to produce its famous products.

Even though it did not hit us out of the blue, it is still a shock to all of us.

Over the years Team MediaPortal developed a very good relationship with Digital Everywhere. Their hardware was the "Mercedes" among TV-Cards, and the first choice not only for Team MediaPortal, but also for a lot of our users.

As many other companies, Digital Everywhere did feel the effects of the economic crisis. Business was running bad, and they tried all they could to keep the company running. Sadly, their efforts were unsuccessful.

Currently it looks as if their products would vanish completelly.
But Digital Everywhere is still trying to find a solution to keep the floppy and fire-dtv on the market.

As soon as we know more, we will of course inform you.

The team feels for the employees of Digital Everywhere and we wish them all the best for their future.

The loss of Digital Everywhere and their products, creates a big hole, which won't be filled soon (if ever).

We are grateful for the time we could work together, and the great products they delivered in the past.

Farewell Digital Everywhere. We will not forget you.

This is an incredible loss for us.
I've really enjoyed working together with Marco and Christian (who was responsible for their drivers and firmware development).
For every problem we found a solution in no time.

It will be very, very hard to find a equal alternative for their products, and it will surely be impossible to replace the great relation we had with them. :)

I feel very sad when a company selling quality products and offering a descent support has to stop its activity. Hope they will all find a new job very soon.

This is very very sad. I only can speak for DVB-C section, but there is no real Alternative to floppy dtv for me. Since i use the floppy dtv, TV Card has stopped to be a troublemaker with MP. I feel with the employees of DE.

And now, this must be said:

Very much good, especially small and innovating companies stop existing cause of a stupid criminal crowd called Bankmanager, Investmentbanker and other pieces of shit in that dirty business and the f**king politicians all around the western world, that have not been able to control these a**holes. I hate the fact, that these gangsters in their shiny suits continue with their criminal behaviour. Time to stop these villains --- regardless the method to stop them. Enough is enough.

I know this is hard speech, but time to be friendly is over.

    ARRRRRRRG!!!!

After Technotrend, now Digital_Everywhere! Unfortunately this is very likely to happen more and more as TV Providers are locking their subscriptions to their hardware more and more.

InfinityLoop: Do you know if they intend to opensource their Windows drivers? Because with the coming of Windows 7, current beta driver would not be stable enough.

Hmmm... DVB-shop has just started a new site: TV Tuner Shop TechnoTrend DVB-PC

    Ad from DVB-shop:

Wouldn't it be strange that they started a dedicated sales page for a brand that no longer produces TV-cards?
