Digital TV Retune (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

I hope someone can help me, I live in Townsville Australia and we have had to re-tune our TV's because the powers that be have decided to rearrange the the channels!

My problem is when i re-tuned my media pc I don't get the two channels they moved ABC & WIN (all variations)

I have deleted all channels and still no luck.

By the way all the TV's in the house had no problem finding all available channels.

Any help with this would be greatly appriciated

If frequencies were missing from our tuning detail list please can you let us know. That way you and other people won't encounter this problem again in a hurry. I note we've received a huge lot of updates for Australia recently which I think are included in MP 1.8. Not sure if you're still using MP 1.5 as your system specs say, but that's a good reason to update...

I upgraded to 1.8 a couple of weeks ago so it seems the frequencies I was missing were not included in the Townsville region.

I selected Australia all regions safe and the missing channels were found.

As far as posting the missing frequencies I have no idea how to access that information.

You can take them from the scanning window.

That one that says "6tp- 706000 8:... is an example of an active frequency.
706000 is the frequency; 8 is the bandwidth.

Take a copy of any of the files you find in c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbt.
Rename it to match your country/region.
Open the file in any text editor (notepad, wordpad etc.).
Add/update/delete frequencies as required.
Save.
Submit by starting a new thread here:
